November Food Drive

One of our goals here at Kidzland is to try and help the children develop a sense of community and compassion.  We also know that children learn best through direct experience and modeling.  What better way to do that than a good ‘ol fashioned food drive!  In the month of November, we will be participating in our 2nd annual food drive for St Joe’s food pantry.  The children will be learning about the various members of our community and how they may have different needs.  They will also be learning ways they can help and having fun while doing it.  The classroom that raises the most items will be getting a fun prize!  Have a great Thanksgiving and be sure to give everyone in our community a reason to be grateful 🙂
